Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Oasis Within, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Wellness service—not medical care

Oasis Within provides tools for personal reflection, journaling, mood awareness, optional AI-generated reflections, and user-directed therapist collaboration. It is not a healthcare provider, therapy practice, medical device, diagnostic service, treatment service, or emergency service. The service does not create a therapist-patient relationship between you and Seleqt Group LLC.

3. Emergencies and crisis situations

Do not use Oasis Within to seek emergency help. The service is not continuously monitored and cannot guarantee detection or response to crisis language. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep login credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may require verification or suspend access to protect users and the service.

5. User content

You retain ownership of journal entries and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, transmit, and back up that content solely as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service and fulfill your requests.

You are responsible for the content you submit and for deciding what to share with a therapist or other person. Do not submit unlawful content, content that infringes another person’s rights, malicious code, or information you do not have permission to use.

6. AI-generated content

AI features are optional and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, or inappropriate content. AI outputs are not professional advice and should be independently evaluated. Do not rely on an AI output for diagnosis, treatment, medication, legal decisions, emergency action, or other high-stakes decisions.

You may not use the AI features to generate harmful or unlawful instructions, impersonate a professional, violate another person’s rights, or attempt to bypass safety systems.

7. Therapist connections

A therapist connection feature may allow communication or sharing between a user and an independently responsible professional. Unless expressly stated otherwise, therapists are not employees or agents of Seleqt Group LLC. We do not guarantee professional availability, licensure, suitability, response time, or clinical outcomes.

Therapists are responsible for independently reviewing information and complying with their professional, legal, ethical, documentation, and emergency obligations.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with security, access another person’s account or data, scrape or reverse engineer protected parts of the service, upload malware, overwhelm the service, or use it for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, abusive, or exploitative conduct.

9. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security, technical issues, or circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or preservation of every item of content.

10. App stores and third-party services

Your use may also be subject to Apple App Store rules and third-party service terms. Third-party services are responsible for their own products and practices. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our control.

11. Intellectual property

Oasis Within, its logo, software, interface, branding, and original content are owned by Seleqt Group LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Except for your own content and rights expressly granted in these terms, no rights are transferred to you.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service and may request account deletion through available account tools or support. We may suspend or terminate access for security risk, material violation of these terms, unlawful activity, nonpayment of applicable fees, or discontinuation of the service.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and results. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seleqt Group LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or harm arising from reliance on AI content, delayed therapist responses, or inability to access the service. Any aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you paid nothing, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute venue and dispute-resolution provisions should be confirmed with legal counsel before launch.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
