Oasis Within is a wellness and reflection platform operated by Seleqt Group LLC (“Oasis Within,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The service may include private journaling, mood check-ins, optional AI-generated reflections, weekly summaries, therapist connections, shared journal entries, therapist comments, account settings, and support services.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile information

We may collect your name, email address, authentication details, account role, profile preferences, and information needed to create and manage your account.

Journal and wellness information

When you choose to use these features, we process journal entries, prompts, mood check-ins, saved reflections, weekly summaries, therapist connection information, entries you choose to share, and related app activity.

Therapist and professional information

For therapist accounts, we may process professional profile information, approval status, client connections, comments, and private therapist tool outputs.

Technical and usage information

We may collect device type, app version, browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, security logs, crash information, and feature usage needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Support information

If you contact support, we collect the contact information and message you provide, along with technical details that may help us respond.

3. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and secure the app and website.
• Authenticate users and enforce account permissions.
• Save and display journal entries, moods, reflections, and account settings.
• Enable user-directed sharing and therapist collaboration.
• Generate optional AI reflections or summaries only when requested.
• Respond to support requests and communicate service information.
• Detect abuse, investigate security incidents, and comply with legal obligations.
• Improve reliability, accessibility, and user experience.

4. AI features

AI features are optional. The app does not automatically generate an AI reflection from every journal entry. When you request an AI feature, selected content and necessary context may be sent securely to our AI service provider to generate the requested output. We configure AI requests not to be used as a substitute for therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, crisis monitoring, or emergency support.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should not rely on them for medical, legal, safety-critical, or emergency decisions. Some AI-generated content may be saved to your account depending on the feature and your settings.

5. Therapist sharing and access

Your journal is private by default. Therapist access is limited by account permissions, approved connections, and your sharing choices. The service is designed so a therapist does not automatically receive every journal entry or every AI output. Information explicitly shared through the app may become visible to the connected therapist according to the applicable feature.

6. Service providers

We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, database services, email delivery, analytics, customer support, security, AI processing, and app distribution. These providers process information on our behalf according to contractual and technical safeguards. Current core providers may include Supabase for backend infrastructure and OpenAI for requested AI processing.

7. When we may disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers, with your direction or consent, to protect users or the service, in connection with a business transaction, or when required by law. Oasis Within does not automatically notify a therapist or emergency service based solely on journal content or an AI output.

8. Data security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including authenticated access, encrypted transport, access controls, database security policies, and limited server-side credentials. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Retention may vary by data type. Account deletion tools may remove or schedule deletion of account information, subject to legal, security, backup, and fraud-prevention exceptions.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also manage AI settings, sharing controls, and connected therapist access inside the app. Requests can be sent to support@myoasiswithin.com.

11. Children

Oasis Within is not intended for children under 13. If the service is offered to minors in the future, additional consent, account, and privacy protections may apply. Contact us if you believe a child provided information without appropriate authorization.

12. Health and emergency limitations

Oasis Within is a wellness and reflection service, not an emergency service. It is not continuously monitored and does not guarantee detection of crisis language or risk. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
